What happens if our application gets through to the second stage?
We will write and tell you if your proposal is being taken through to the next stage and will tell you the name of the member of staff who will be working with you to develop your application. How your application will move forward will vary, but the basic principle is that we will be trying to discover how best Tudor could support your work.
If we get through to the second stage, what are our chances of getting a grant?
Although your chances of success are of course significantly higher if you get through to the second stage, being asked to submit a second-stage application does not guarantee that a grant will be made. Not all applications get as far as committee stage, and not all applications going to committee are funded.
Will we receive feedback if we do not receive a grant at this stage?
Yes, we will provide detailed feedback to applicants who do not receive a grant at the second stage.
How long will it take for our application to get to Grants Committee?
Tudor tries to consider all applications quickly and we aim to make a decision on most applications within three months of their reaching the second stage. Complex applications can of course take longer to develop, but equally we can act more swiftly if circumstances demand this.
Do you visit all applicants at the second stage?
We may arrange for a trustee or member of staff to visit you at this point so that we can gain a better understanding of your organisation and your work, but we don’t visit all applicant organisations as a matter of course. We do however aim to visit all the organisations we support at least once over the period we are funding them.
