Our people & culture in practice
Our people
We are a small, core team who together hold responsibility for Tudor’s day-to-day operational and programmatic work. We regularly review our roles as our work evolves, which enables our staff to develop their skills and step into new challenges. All new roles are widely advertised, through sector channels, our website, and LinkedIn.
Our culture
At Tudor, our commitment to people and culture is about ensuring that the principles of Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging underpin everything we do. We commit to our people, our greatest strength and the driving force behind the Change We Seek, by building, practicing and iterating a culture that holds diversity and inclusivity at its core.
Critical to our approach is understanding that we all commit to putting the shared ambitions of Tudor and the aspirations of our communities, before our personal preferences.

Building
in emergence
- A behaviours framework to guide how we would enable all our people to contribute well to the growth and development of Tudor. Our behaviours are bravery, compassion, creativity, curiosity, humility, and integrity.
- Policies and a staff handbook to enable individuals from a diverse range of background with a variety of lived and professional experience to thrive. Policies that we introduced from the beginning included a well-being budget, access to health care and coaching.
- Access to training and professional development so that our people are able to build leadership skills for now and the future.
As we evolve, we continue to explore ways in which to build a culture around co-creation, where every member of the team has autonomy and an understanding of how their contribution strengthens everything we do as an organisation.
